Science and Love

SCIENCE begins with G as in LOVE

Wednesday Readings for February 13, 2013

The citations below are part of the ongoing internal conversation of the Christian Science Pastor, The King James Version of the Bible (in BLUE) and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures (in RED) by Mary Baker Eddy. This portion of the conversation begins with the creation of a home for man made in the image and likeness of God. Within the home, man, male and female respond to the command of God to be fruitful, multiply and in marital chastity to fill the home until the day that there is no more giving and receiving in marriage.

HOME

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And the evening and the morning were the second day.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: ... Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
And the evening and the morning were the third day.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.    And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. ... And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply...
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. (1) Genesis

Home is the dearest spot ...
Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven, stranger thou art the guest of God. (A) Marriage, Footsteps of Truth)
