God created man

     In the beginning, man,
          conceived in Mind,
               reflects Soul;
          formed of Spirit,
               likens Principle;
          known by Life, Truth & Love,
               images God,
                    now and forever.
                                                            ~Carolyn St.Charles

     Man reflects God by virtue of his authentic DNA.
     Man, who lives in the world, is conformed by God.

     Man experiences pain when not aware of this fact.

     Man, who holds he is agnostic or an atheist, sleeps.

     Man dreams his world and claims it as his creation.

     Man, tossing and turning, tries to govern but cannot.

     Man becomes battle-tired and hears his name called.
     Man, opening his eyes, clears away the blurring veil.

     Man was mystified by the unreal but now is awake.

     Man, feeling satisfied, healthy and joyous, laughs.

     Man knows the good, truth and beauty as God said.

A question about Life reflected in life...

"I was wondering about something:
 If we are all eternal with no stop date,
do we have a start date?
If so, does it pre-exist our current life?"

How would you answer these questions?

Here are thoughts that came to me starting with my favorite fact.

There is no Day 1 Eternal Life.

God declared: I am the Lord, I change not. (Malachi 3:6)*

Time is not knowable to the Eternal since time is a measure of change. God, Life, is ever present now. And Eternity, by definition, has no beginning or before and no ending or after.

What happens after death?

After the change called death takes place,
do we meet those gone before? – or
does life continue in thought only as in a dream?
Miscellaneous Writings  42:4-28
     Man is not annihilated, nor does he lose his identity, by passing through the belief called death. After the momentary belief of dying passes from mortal mind, this mind is still in a conscious state of existence; and the individual has but passed through a moment of extreme mortal fear, to awaken with thoughts, and being, as material as before. Science and Health clearly states that spiritualization of thought is not attained by the death of the body, but by a conscious union with God. When we shall have passed the ordeal called death, or destroyed this last enemy, and shall have come upon the same plane of conscious existence with those gone before, then we shall be able to communicate with and to recognize them.
     If, before the change whereby we meet the dear departed, our life-work proves to have been well done, we shall not have to repeat it; but our joys and means of advancing will be proportionately increased.
     The difference between a belief of material existence and the spiritual fact of Life is, that the former is a dream and unreal, while the latter is real and eternal. Only as we understand God, and learn that good, not evil, lives and is immortal, that immortality exists only in spiritual perfection, shall we drop our false sense of Life in sin or sense material, and recognize a better state of existence.

ADDITIONAL IDEAS:

Illusion of death
S&H 251:8-11
In the illusion of death, mortals wake to the knowledge of two facts:
(1) that they are not dead;
(2) that they have but passed the portals of a new belief.

"As man falleth asleep "
S&H 291:19
"In the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be." So we read in Ecclesiastes. This text has been transformed into the popular proverb, "As the tree falls, so it must lie." As man falleth asleep, so shall he awake. As death findeth mortal man, so shall he be after death, until probation and growth shall effect the needed change. Mind never becomes dust. No resurrection from the grave awaits Mind or Life, for the grave has no power over either.

Primitive error
S&H 292:7-10
Truth will be to us "the resurrection and the life" only as it destroys all error and the belief that Mind, the only immortality of man, can be fettered by the body, and Life be controlled by death.
